The best everyday tech gear: chargers, cables, a power bank and earbuds
Updated · 6 picks · Not tested by Tote — how we picked
The accessories you replace when they go missing, not the gadgets you upgrade for fun. One pick per job, chosen on published specifications, warranty terms and what established reviewers found — not on our own testing.
Tote may earn a commission from some links. The store links on this page go straight to the retailer, and nothing here was picked, ranked or left out because of a commission.
How we picked
We have not tested these products. Tote is a shopping cart, not a lab, and saying otherwise would make the rest of this page worth less. Instead, every pick had to clear criteria you can check yourself on the maker's page, and had to be recommended by at least one established review outlet that does test. We read those reviews and the specifications, and the summaries below are in our own words — the links are there so you can read the originals.
We looked at one product per job and preferred models that have been sold long enough to be reviewed widely and are carried by more than one store. Where a source is older than this year, we say so on the pick.
What every pick had to show
- Published specifications: wattage and charging standard (USB Power Delivery, Qi2), capacity, cable rating and length, battery life.
- A stated warranty from the maker, and a return window you can find before buying.
- Works with both iPhone and Android, or — where it doesn't — we say so.
- Sold by the maker and by at least one other major store, so it isn't a single-seller listing that disappears next month.
- Recommended by at least one established review outlet that tests products, linked below.
Our picks
Small phone charger
Anker Nano Charger (30W)
A single USB-C port with USB Power Delivery and PPS at up to 30W, in a cube a little over an inch on each side with folding prongs. That's enough to fast-charge current iPhones and most Android phones, and it will top up a small laptop slowly in a pinch. Android Authority named it the best-value pick in its 2025 charger roundup, and Anker's warranty table lists 18 months for chargers in this line, with a 30-day return window.
- Good for:
- Anyone who charges a phone, earbuds or a tablet from one outlet and wants something that disappears into a bag.
- Skip it if:
- Charging a laptop at full speed, or more than one device at once — see the 67W pick below.
- Sold at:
- Anker, Best Buy
- Price:
- about $15.99 at Anker, checked September 19, 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.

One charger for a laptop, phone and earbuds
Anker Prime 67W GaN Wall Charger (3 ports)
Two USB-C ports and one USB-A, with 67W from a single port and roughly 65W shared across two or three devices — enough for a MacBook Air or a typical 13-inch Windows laptop plus a phone. It folds flat and is about two inches tall. Android Authority picked it as its best overall charger in late 2025, and Macworld's 2023 review found it fast across all three ports. Anker's warranty table gives its Prime chargers 24 months.
- Good for:
- People who travel with a laptop and want one plug for everything, or a desk with one free outlet.
- Skip it if:
- 14- to 16-inch performance laptops that expect 100W or more, or anyone who only charges a phone.
- Sold at:
- Anker, Best Buy, Walmart, Adorama
- Price:
- about $49.99 at Anker, checked September 19, 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.

Everyday power bank
Anker Nano Power Bank (30W, built-in USB-C cable)
10,000mAh with a USB-C cable built into the body, plus a separate USB-C and a USB-A port, and 30W output from one port. The built-in cable is the point: it's the power bank that still works when you've forgotten a cable. Tech Advisor gave it an Editors' Choice in 2025 and found it recharges an iPhone about twice; Anker says it's under the airline carry-on limit. Anker's warranty table lists 18 months for power banks in this line.
- Good for:
- Daily carry and flights, for a phone and earbuds.
- Skip it if:
- Charging a laptop, or a long trip away from outlets — two phone charges is its range. Engadget's 2026 power bank guide chose different models, so compare if capacity matters more than size.
- Sold at:
- Anker, Best Buy

One cable for everything that charges over USB-C
Belkin BoostCharge USB-C to USB-C Cable 240W (2m, braided)
Rated for 240W — the top of the current USB-C power spec — so it will carry whatever any charger and laptop can negotiate, over a braided 6.6-foot length. It's USB-IF certified and Belkin quotes a 30,000-bend rating and a two-year warranty. PCWorld's September 2026 guide ranks it first for charging. Data runs at USB 2.0 speed, which matters only for file transfers.
- Good for:
- Anyone replacing a pile of short, mismatched cables with one that charges a laptop, tablet and phone.
- Skip it if:
- Moving large files or connecting a monitor — you want a USB4 or 20Gbps data cable for that. Belkin listed it as backordered on its own site when we checked on September 19, 2026; other stores had it listed.
- Sold at:
- Belkin, Amazon, Walmart, Office Depot

Earbuds for iPhone owners
Apple AirPods Pro 3
Active noise cancelling, an IP57 dust and water rating, up to eight hours of listening with noise cancelling on and about 24 with the case, a heart-rate sensor, and Apple's hearing-aid feature for mild to moderate hearing loss. Engadget's 2026 earbuds guide picks them as the best choice for iPhone, and RTINGS lists them among its best wireless earbuds. Apple's one-year limited warranty applies. There's no cable or power adapter in the box.
- Good for:
- iPhone owners who want noise cancelling and the easiest pairing and switching between Apple devices.
- Skip it if:
- Android phones, where most of the Apple-specific features don't work — Engadget suggests Samsung's Galaxy Buds for Samsung phones and Pixel Buds for Pixels, and RTINGS's overall top pick is Sony's WF-1000XM6.
- Sold at:
- Apple, Best Buy, Amazon, Target
- Price:
- about $249 at Apple, checked September 19, 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.
Bedside and travel wireless charger
Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger (Qi2 25W)
A magnetic Qi2 pad at up to 25W for the phone, a second pad for earbuds, and a USB-C port for a watch cable, folding flat for a bag. Unusually, the 45W power adapter and a five-foot cable are included. Engadget's 2026 wireless charger guide recommends it for exactly that combination of fast Qi2 charging, portability and a complete box. Belkin gives it a two-year warranty.
- Good for:
- Owners of recent iPhones and Qi2 Android phones who want one stand for the phone and earbuds overnight.
- Skip it if:
- Older Android phones without Qi2 or magnets, or anyone who only needs a basic flat pad.
- Sold at:
- Belkin, B&H, Walmart, Amazon
- Price:
- about $59.99 at Belkin, checked September 19, 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.

What to check before you buy any of these
- Wattage is a ceiling, not a promise: a phone takes what it can, so a 30W charger is plenty for a phone and slow for a laptop.
- For a charger and a cable to deliver high wattage together, both have to support it. A 240W cable on a 30W charger still charges at 30W.
- Many USB-C charging cables are USB 2.0 for data. That's fine for charging and slow for copying files or driving a monitor.
- Power bank capacity is quoted at the battery, not at your phone; expect noticeably less than the headline number to reach the phone.
- Check what's in the box. Some earbuds and chargers ship without a cable or a power adapter.
Keep the shortlist in one place
Accessories are the classic thing you meant to buy and forgot, split across Anker, Belkin, Apple and a big-box store. Save the ones you want to a single Tote cart and they sit together with a total — and if one of them is on sale more often than not, Tote+ can watch its price for you at stores whose pages show Tote the price.

Common questions
- Did Tote test these?
- No. The picks rest on the makers' published specifications and warranty terms, and on reviews from outlets that do test, all linked on this page. We'd rather say that plainly than imply hands-on experience we don't have.
- Does Tote earn money from these links?
- Not from the links on this page — they go straight to the store. If you save a product to Tote and buy through Tote's own buy button, Tote may earn a commission from some stores. Whether a brand has an affiliate program played no part in what's on this list.
- Why aren't there prices on every pick?
- We only show a price that we read on a store's own page, with the date we read it. Where we couldn't confirm one, we left it out rather than guess. Prices move, so check the store before you buy.
