Shared cart splitter
For the order one person paid for and several people share. Add the items, say who paid and who each thing is for, and get the fewest payments that settle everybody up.
Free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere.

How the split works
Evenly adds up everything — items, then shipping, tax and fees — and gives everyone the same share. Item by item splits each line between the people it’s for, and then splits shipping, tax and fees in proportion to what each person’s items came to, so whoever took more of the order carries more of its delivery.
Everything is counted in whole cents and nothing is rounded away: when a total doesn’t divide evenly, the odd cents go to the first people in the list, so the shares always add up to exactly what was paid. “Who owes whom” is the fewest payments that settle everybody up — for a household, usually one per person.
Nothing is saved. Reload the page and the form is empty again; use “Copy the split” to keep it. For the buying-together part, see how a shared shopping list works in Tote.
Decide what to buy together, before anyone pays
In Tote, a household shares one cart across every store: everyone adds, everyone sees the total, and each person buys from the retailer. Splitting is the part this page does — Tote doesn't take payments.
